You can hear crickets chirping during the 7th inning of a 4-4 ballgame if the team isn't up in the standings. Honestly, until about a month ago, I wasn't even sure if Minnesota had a baseball team. I apologize to the hardcore fans of the Twins, but even they can admit their minority status within the category of a "TWINS FAN." I have heard it out of way too many "TWINS FAN's" mouths to question it any longer... This situation has repeated many times during my time in the great city of Minneapolis: Me: "You're from Minnesota, huh? You like the Twins?" Average Twins Fan: "Well...if they're winning."
